in 1939’s Detective Comics #27. This year, as fans around the globe prepare to celebrate
Batman Day 2024 on September 21, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products is
pulling out all the stops to commemorate 85 years of the Dark Knight.
An Unforgettable Celebration of Batman’s Legacy

In collaboration with Vicinity Centres, Warner Bros. Discovery is bringing an exciting series of
events to 17 retail destinations across Australia. Fans can expect thrilling character
appearances, hands-on superhero crafting stations, and unique opportunities to win the
ultimate theme park holiday. And for the first time ever, experience “Batman in Concert,”
where the iconic 1989 film will be screened with a live symphony orchestra, creating a magical
event for fans of all ages!
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Each Vicinity Centre will offer something special, from
Batman-themed children’s play areas to competitions and exclusive activities, ensuring that
every fan gets a taste of the action. Following the massive success at Chadstone – The Fashion
Capital, where record crowds were thrilled by Australian-first retail experiences, you can
expect the upcoming celebrations to be just as unforgettable!

ZING Pop Culture, Agoro and New Zealand Mint. The lineup features a variety of items perfect
for fans of all ages, including Imaginext Super Friends Figure sets, 30cm The Dark Knight
Figurines, and collectible Pop Vinyls. The highlight of the collection is the BATMAN 1:15th
Tumbler Remote Control Batmobile, a must-have for any Batman enthusiast, promising hours

As part of the festivities, “Batman” in Concert is set to make its Australian debut. Presented
by TEG Life Like Touring and TCG, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed
Entertainment, this spectacular event will showcase the epic “Batman” (1989) film on the big
screen, accompanied by some of Australia’s finest symphony orchestras performing the iconic
Danny Elfman score. Part of the DC in Concert series, this global tour brings the Warner Bros.
Pictures’ 1989 blockbuster film directed by Tim Burton to symphony halls around the globe.
