@moonrestaurant346 has long been a Darlinghurst favourite, but forced to adapt to a pandemic world, has found a new niche that has broadened its appeal beyond its city-adjacent borders. Pivoting to a degustation-only model, the quality of their European-Thai dishes has gone up a level, and their current menu is a star-studded curation of their best work.
Beginning with the Scallops Ceviche, the scallops are tender, juicy, and redolent of the sea, lightly accented with an invigorating wasabi ponzu. Aided by a smattering of julienned green apples and salmon roe for some zing and pop, this is a refreshing and accomplished first dish that gently wakes the palate from its slumber.
