Poulenc’s Gloria makes the perfect pairing. Looking to the past and giving fresh life to old traditions, Poulenc channels irrepressible joy and candour, the aural equivalent of brilliant stained glass in clear primary colours.\nBetween these two French classics, the choir presents the world premiere of Australian composer Carl Vine’s epic, new choral work Time’s Fell Hand, co-commissioned by a member of the Festival Chorus, Min Zhu, and Jesse Tattersall.\nElegant, transcendent and innovative, don’t miss this performance of two of the greatest choral works of the 20th century and this new Australian choral work.\n
